Restricting access to loads published on the TAPA Certified Carrier Exchange

Updated 27 minutes ago by Marta

Available for transport companies with a TAPA Certified Carrier Exchange subscription that hold the Mandatory role on that exchange.

In this article, you'll learn:

  • how access restriction for TAPA Certified Carrier Exchange loads works,
  • how to restrict access to these loads for selected employees.

This feature lets you limit visibility of TAPA offers to only the colleagues actually managing the certified fleet, without giving the whole team access

How access restriction works

By default, all employees can see loads from the closed TAPA Certified Carrier Exchange. The company account administrator can remove this access for selected users.

Once access is removed, the user:

  • no longer sees offers published on the TAPA exchange in the Search loads module,
  • no longer sees the TAPA Exchange option in Freight offer sources,
  • sees no TAPA labels on offers published to several exchanges at once (including TAPA) – only the exchanges they still have access to,
  • has offers from the TAPA exchange excluded from the best-offer calculation for extended publications.

How to restrict access to TAPA loads for selected employees

  1. Go to the My company module and select the Employees tab.
  2. Select the employee whose access you want to restrict, then click Manage employee.
  3. Go to the Private offers tab.
  4. Turn off the toggle for access to loads published on the TAPA Certified Carrier Exchange.
  5. Click Save.

Access to the exchange disappears immediately, even if the user was already negotiating on that offer.
