Who can use this feature?

The feature is available to users of the CargoON product line and forwarding (TFF - Trans for Forwarders).

In this article you will learn:

  • how to configure monitoring sharing settings
  • how to share monitoring

The functionality allows sharing monitoring with permanent senders and receivers of loads and with people who do not have an account on the Trans.eu Platform. Thanks to this feature, you gain greater transparency and trust in your relationship with the client, as well as have an impact on improving the organization of loading and unloading processes.

Automatic monitoring sharing configuration

Add a new address to your address book or edit an existing one. This way, the system will automatically send a tracking link as soon as the first location from the vehicle performing the transport appears.

  1. On the Platform, click on the avatar icon (with a photo or initials).
  2. Select - My company from the list.

  1. Go to the Address book tab.
  2. Click the Add new address button.

  1. Fill out the form. After entering the e-mail address, the Share monitoring option will be automatically enabled.
  2. Save changes.

  1. If you want to make changes, select the address from the list, then click on the three-dot option and select Edit. Enter and save changes.

Sharing settings

Configure settings, choose what information you want to share with your recipients.

  1. On the Platform, click on the avatar icon (with a photo or initials).
  2. Select - Settings from the list.

  1. Select settings for the Realized transports module from the list and go to the Share with others tab. - Choose the information you want to share.
  • Use the slider to enable or disable a given status.

Manual monitoring sharing from the transport level

To share transport:

  1. Select the Transports in realization module from the menu.
  2. Go to the Active tab.
  3. Select the transport you want to share from the list.
  4. In the transport details window, select the More button and then select the share transport option.

  1. Enter the e-mail address, specify the role and select the visibility range.
  2. Confirm with the Send button.

  1. You can check how the information you share will be presented using the Link preview button.

Managing shared transports

You can manage shared transports, to do this follow these steps:

  1. In the Transports in realizations module, select the transport you want to change.
  2. In the offer details window, click the More button.
  3. Select the Manage shared transports option from the list.

  1. Select the address and use the x sign to remove access for that address.
  2. Confirm your decision with the Remove access button.

Visibility for the recipient of shared monitoring

Depending on the visibility range, the information recipient will see specific information.

  1. The recipient who does not have an account on the Platform:
  • Will receive an e-mail

  • Using the Monitor transport button (link), they will be redirected to a page that allows them to view and track information in real time.
  • Transport data

  • Status

  • Location on the map
EN

  1. The recipient who has an account on the Platform (third party):
  • In the Transport in realization module, in the Active tab, there will be an eye icon next to the given transport, which means that the user is an observer of the transport.
  • Transport details will be visible depending on the granted access range.
