FAQ about ratings

Updated 2 days ago by Katarzyna

Ratings help build trust between Platform users and make it easier to decide on cooperation with a given contractor. Below you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding submitting, editing, and viewing ratings, as well as how to request a rating from a contractor after a completed transaction.

General information about ratings

Who can leave a rating?

A rating can be submitted by any employee of the company who has an account on the Platform.

How many times can I rate a given company?

The fulfillment of each order is subject to evaluation, so every concluded transaction provides an opportunity to submit a separate rating.

Can I cancel a transaction?

No, a transaction cannot be canceled - it is only possible to cancel the order.

To do this:

  • go to the Orders module,
  • find the relevant order and click on it,
  • in the order details, click More, and then select the Cancel order option.

Canceling an order does not affect the possibility of leaving a rating for the transaction. The parties can mutually rate the transaction, even if its execution did not take place.

If the transaction is canceled, you can send an email to the contractor or contact them via the messenger.

Submitting and editing a rating

How to withdraw a submitted rating?

In this case, if you are the person who submitted the rating, we invite you to send us a request to info@trans.eu asking for its removal. Please specify exactly which rating you mean, so there is no doubt:

  • date,
  • freight number,
  • details of the company that was rated.
How to edit a submitted rating?

You can edit a rating within 72 hours of submitting it.

You can modify each rating a maximum of four times.

Each edit will be recorded in the history and communicated to the other party of the transaction.

  1. Find the rating you want to edit on the ratings list.
  2. Click on the pencil icon.
  3. Enter your changes; you can change:
  • change the rating itself (e.g., the number of stars for cooperation)
  • change the marked payment status (e.g., from "unpaid" to "paid on time" or "late"),
  • add or modify the content of the comment
  1. Click Save.

After changing the rating, the other party of the transaction will be informed immediately.

You can also edit the rating directly from the messenger.

Submitting a rating by a contractor

How to request a rating from a contractor?
  1. Go to the Ratings and references module.
  2. Open the Request a rating tab.
  3. Find the order on the list.
  4. Click Request a rating in the Remaining column (you will see information there on how much time is left to submit a rating).
The contractor will receive your request in the messenger and can submit a rating directly from the message window. You will also see information about the submitted rating in the messenger.
What should the contractor do to submit a rating?

The contractor can submit a rating in two ways.

1. If you send a rating request, the contractor will receive a notification in the messenger, from where they can submit the rating directly.

2. In the Ratings and references module, in the Submit a rating column, the contractor can click on the selected transaction and award a star rating in the details window. If the rating is lower than 5 stars, the contractor can indicate the reason for the lower rating or add a comment.

When you disagree with a rating

How to remove a received rating?

If the rating contains untrue information, write to us at info@trans.eu. Attach documents confirming that the rating is incorrect. Also provide the date, freight number, and details of the company that submitted the rating.

Can I reply to a received rating?

If you feel that a rating was given unfairly, you can reply to it. In the Ratings and references module, go to the Ratings summary tab. From the user ratings list, select the one you disagree with, click Reply, and leave your comment.

Checking transaction information

How to check who from your company concluded the transaction?

The name of the person who concluded the transaction on behalf of the company can be found in the Submit a rating and Request a rating tabs in the Contact person from my company column.

You can also use the filtering option. Go to Filters, select the employee's name from the Contact person from my company drop-down list, and confirm with the Show results button. You will see the offers of that person on the list.

How to check who the transaction was concluded with?

In the Submit a rating and Request a rating tabs, in the Contractor column, you will find the company name and the first and last name of the employee who concluded the transaction with us.

Statistics and viewing ratings

Where can I check my ratings?

You can check your ratings in the Ratings and references module under the Ratings summary tab.

You can also add the Ratings widget to your Dashboard – it allows you to check your own score (which is the average of all ratings for freight offers you have published) or the company's score (the average rating of all employees).

Where can I check another company's ratings?

Another company's ratings can be checked by viewing their profile in the Contractors module. Additionally, rating information is displayed in many places throughout the system where a decision to cooperate with a given contractor might be made (e.g., in offer details under the Ratings tab, or on the regular routes contractors list under the Shipper tab).

What time period do the visible ratings cover?

Statistics (average rating and contractor satisfaction indicators for specific aspects of order execution) are calculated based on ratings from the last 12 months (the last 11 months + the current month). However, all ratings received by a given contractor are available on the ratings list.

Why can't I see all of my ratings?

Ratings from the past year are displayed. Older ratings are not included when presenting rating indicators. Additionally, it is possible to filter the ratings list by the number of stars awarded. An active filter narrows down the list of displayed ratings.

What does the total rating mean?

The total rating is the average of all submitted ratings on a 1-5 star scale from the last 12 months (the last 11 months + the current month).

How is the average rating calculated?

Sum of ratings in the year / number of ratings from the last 12 months (the last 11 months + the current month).
