Basic information about the widget

Add the Method of publication efficiency widget to your Dashboard to check which of the methods of publishing offers on the Trans.eu Platform you use is the most effective.

The Method of publication efficiency widget:

  • belongs to the Freights category widgets,
  • is dedicated to clients,
  • presents data collected on the basis of freights added and accepted on the freight exchange over the last 30 days,
  • presents data for the entire company and the user,
  • presents historical data,
  • can be added to your Dashboard more than once.

Widget navigation

The main elements of the widget are:

  1. A chart showing the percentage share of each publication type in all publications of the company or user.
  2. Status as at - information about the specific day from which the data is presented.
  3. Filters - click the arrow icon to open a window in which you can choose to display the data as Company or User.
The icon at the bottom left of the widget indicates which view the data is presented for – a person icon for the user view, and a building icon for the company view.

Chart

Publication types are illustrated with vertical bars, where you will find percentage values:

  1. Percentage of acceptance in a given publication type (the highest value on the bar).
  2. Percentage of a given publication type within all publications (circle icon).
  3. Percentage of acceptance in a given publication type out of all acceptances (approval sign).

You can find detailed information in the tooltip. To display it, hover over the colored indicator on the bar or the percentage value.

The central part of the widget will display the bar with the most publications, marked in black. The remaining bars are placed on the sides and can be moved by clicking on the bar (in both directions of the chart).

After hovering the cursor over the selected bar, it will be highlighted. If there were no publications for a given type, its part will be grayed out.

On each of the bars you can find 2 bars:

  • White - shows the percentage of publications of a given type.
  • With the acceptance color - from light green to red. It shows the percentage of acceptance of a given type.

The color depends on the percentage of acceptance of a given publication, not on the number of publications.

Example: If the user published the fewest freights (e.g. 10%) as part of the publication to Fixed routes, but the largest percentage of these freights was accepted (e.g. 90%), the bar will be green.
Hover the cursor over the acceptance color to display detailed information in the tooltip.

How to analyze data?

  1. To make data analysis easier, add the widget twice (you can add the widget up to 9 times).
You can learn how to add a widget to the Dashboard in the article Widgets - basic information.
  1. Using filters, set the view for the user on one widget and the view for the company on the other.

Let's compare the data for the entire company and the user:

  • From the perspective of the entire company, the most publications took place on private exchanges (36% of publications), although the user does not have any publication of this type. The user also does not publish offers for fixed routes.
  • From the company's perspective, publications for private exchanges are the most effective, as 55% of publications ended with a transaction.
  • The user is most effective when publishing to Companies (50% of publications).
  • For both the company and the user, the percentage of freight publications on the public exchange is 31%, but for the Company it is only 6% of all publications. This may mean that the user uses this type of publication more often and achieves better results there compared to the entire company.
  • For this company, publications to Contacts make up 50% of its publications, which accounts for 4% of all publications. 7% of publications to Contacts were accepted. For the user, 39% of their total publications are the ones to Contacts, representing 12% of all publications, of which 11% were accepted.

For both the company and the user, publications to Contacts are the second most effective type of publication. Although the user publishes proportionally fewer of them than the entire Company, they are more effective.

Thanks to the Effectiveness of publication methods widget, you can:

  • see which types of publications bring the best results,
  • directly compare the effectiveness of your publications against the company's overall publications,
  • more easily decide whether to change the publication method for certain freight to better reach potential carriers.
