Who can use this function?

This function is available to all users of the Trans.eu Platform and CargoON.

From this article you will learn:

The messenger is a tool for communicating with business partners. It allows for the exchange of necessary information and arrangements related to transactions.

The messenger is divided into three tabs:

  • the first tab - Recent conversations, which are always accessible
  • the second tab - Contexts, where conversations grouped by topics (freights, orders, others)
  • the third tab - Contacts, where you can create and manage groups of contacts

Turning on the messenger

  1. First method:
  • In the upper right corner, click on the Messenger icon, represented by a speech bubble.
  • Select the option Turn on the messenger.

  1. Second method:
  • In the upper right corner, click on the User panel icon (the icon may contain your photo if it has been added or your initials by default)
  • Select Turn on the messenger from the list

Information about the interlocutor

At the top of the chat window in the messenger, you can see information about the interlocutor including their phone number and company name. Additionally, under the three dots icon, there are more options available, such as muting/unmuting message notifications.

Contact business card view

When you hover over a contact's name in the messenger window, a business card preview appears for that contact. The business card is also available in the chat window when you hover your mouse cursor over the contact's name.

In the business card, there is a Copy to clipboard button, which automatically copies the following information:

  •  Company name
  •  Location
  •  Company VAT number
  •  Contractor’s full name
  •  Trans ID
  •  Phone number
  •  Email address

Translating messages

To facilitate communication with a contractor who uses a different language version of the Platform, you can translate the messages you send and receive.

Translating a message you are sending.

Enter your message. Then click the translation symbol, marked in the picture below. The text will be automatically translated.

Translation of a received message.

Click the translation icon in the chat window and the text will be automatically translated.

Conversation history

  • you will find all conversations with the contractor in one window
  • conversations regarding offers have been separated from each other by a frame with the offer description
  • the active context of the conversation is highlighted in a different color
  • all contexts are arranged chronologically

Managing contacts

Sorting:

  1. by last name (A-Z) - default setting

To do this:

  • go to Contacts
  • click All
  • select Last name A-Z

  1. by company (A-Z)

To do this:

  • go to Contacts
  • click All
  • check Company name A-Z

Adding a contact to the list:

  • from the contact list - click on the three dots and Add to contact list
  • from the chat window - click on the person with a plus icon, or click on the three dots and select Add to contact list.

Deleting a contact from the list:

  • from the contact list - click on the three dots and choose Delete from contact list
  • from the conversation window - click on the three dots and choose Delete from contact list.

Offer counter in the contact list

Next to the contact name in the list, there is a counter indicating how many loads and/or vehicles a given company currently has on the exchange. After clicking the icon (vehicle/load), the filter on the exchange (vehicles/loads) opens.

To view the counters, you need to have the company added to your contacts.

Sending a freight or file and blocking a direct offer

In the conversation window, click on the three dots and select one of the options:
