Surcharges allow flexible price management during the terms of cooperation. This allows you to better adjust the price of the service to the actual conditions of the order. You can react on an ongoing basis, for example, to changes in fuel prices, include additional loading points and maintain the stability of long-term cooperation.

Route proposal with a surcharge for an additional operation point
In order for the surcharge for an additional operation point to start being calculated, it must be attached to the terms of cooperation for the route.
- Go to the Routes with Carriers module and click the Add Route button.
- Complete the route form. Then click the Go ahead and add carriers button.
- Complete the form sections - Type of cooperation, Carriers, Cooperation period, Price.
- After determining the price, you can add a surcharge. Click Add new surcharge.
- Use a pre-prepared template. If you don't have a ready-made template, you can add a surcharge by filling out the form.
- Complete the form and click Add surcharge.
- The surcharge template for an additional operation point has been added correctly. Complete the remaining data and click the Send to carrier button.
- The route offer now has the status in negotiation and is waiting for acceptance by the carrier. In the route details, you will see a surcharge icon. After clicking on it, you can check the details.
- The carrier accepted the route offer with a surcharge for additional stops.
Adding a freight offer with publication to the route
- Click the Add freight button or the Load icon (if you are adding freight from the route level).
- Complete the form, mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.
When completing loading and unloading places, we add an additional stop using the option: Add next location.
NOTE! The "additional stops" surcharge is only calculated for additional stops of the type: loading and unloading. Customs clearance is not a basis for calculating this surcharge.
- In the Freight publication mode section, select Routes and choose a route from the list.
To check the prices and recipients to whom the offer will be sent, click Show active companies. You will see prices including surcharges (if certain conditions are met) and details of surcharge components.
- Click the Publish freight button.
- After the offer is accepted by the carrier, you will find information about the final rate with a surcharge in the details:
Changing the surcharge value after creating an order
If you change the surcharge value or unit in the associated template after creating a transport order, the system will automatically update the order price, provided that the order:
- comes from a contract associated with the edited surcharge template,
- concerns dates covered by the new surcharge schedule entry,
- has not yet been completed.

- To change the surcharge value, click on the avatar, go to Settings > Routes and select the surcharge you want to edit.Learn how to edit surcharge templates in the Surcharge Templates article.
- After updating the surcharge, a yellow surcharge marker indicating the change will appear in the order list.
- Clicking on the surcharge icon will show the new rate.
- In the order details, in the Change History tab, you will find information about the automatic price update.
Route proposal with surcharge from the carrier's perspective
If the contractor includes a surcharge in the conditions of the route, the symbol will appear in the list of routes in the price column. After clicking on the symbol, you will see additional information related to the type and conditions of the surcharge.
- Click on the route to see its details. In the route window you will also find the surcharge symbol.
- Accept the route.
By accepting the conditions of a route with a surcharge, you agree to the possibility of updating the surcharge rates during the route without the need to re-accept the conditions of cooperation.
Freight offers with surcharge from the carrier's perspective
The shipper sent you a freight offer with publication for a route
- Go to the Search loads module. In the For me tab you will find the offer.
- Click on its details and then select Show surcharges. You will find detailed information in the tooltip.
Now you can accept or reject the offer.
If, after your acceptance of the freight, the shipper changes the surcharge value, the order will be marked with a yellow surcharge icon in the list. This indicates that the price has been updated with the surcharge applicable at the time of the planned execution.
