To use surcharges, you must first configure them in the templates. See the article Surcharge templates to learn how to do this.
Fixed route proposal with surcharge for additional operation point
For the surcharge for additional operation point to start applying, it must be linked to the fixed route cooperation terms.
- Go to the Fixed routes with carriers module and click the Add route button.

- Complete the fixed route form. Then click the Add conditions with the carrier button.

- In this step, when setting the conditions of a fixed route, you can add a surcharge using a previously prepared template. If you do not have a ready template, you can add a surcharge by completing the form.
- The surcharge template for additional operation point has been added successfully. Click on the Send to carrier button.

- The fixed route offer is now in the Under negotiation tab, waiting for the carrier to accept it. In the Current price section, you will see the surcharge icon. Click on it to check the details.

- The carrier accepted the offer of a fixed route with the surcharge for additional stops.

Adding a freight offer with publication to a fixed route
- Click the Create freight button.
- Fill in the form. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.
- In the Freight publication mode section, select Fixed routes and choose a route from the list.

- Click the Publish freight button.
- After the carrier accepts the offer, you will find the final rate, including the surcharge, in the offer details.
Changing the surcharge value after creating an order
- comes from a contract associated with the edited surcharge template,
- concerns dates covered by the new surcharge schedule entry,
- has not yet been completed.
Remember that the order value changes, not the freight offer.
- To change the surcharge value, click on the avatar, go to Settings > Fixed Routes and select the surcharge you want to edit.Learn how to edit surcharge templates in the Surcharge Templates article.
- After updating the surcharge, a yellow surcharge marker indicating the change will appear in the order list.

- Clicking on the surcharge icon will show the new rate.
- In the order details, in the Change History tab, you will find information about the automatic price update.
Fixed route proposal with surcharge from the carrier's perspective
If the contractor includes a surcharge in the conditions of the fixed route, the symbol will appear in the list of fixed routes in the price column. After clicking on the symbol, you will see additional information related to the type and conditions of the surcharge.

- Click on the fixed route to see its details. In the fixed route window you will also find the surcharge symbol.
- Accept the fixed route.
Freight offers with surcharge from the carrier's perspective
The shipper sent you a freight offer with publication for a fixed route
- Go to the Search loads module. In the For me tab you will find the offer.
- Click on its details and then select Show surcharges. You will find detailed information in the tooltip.

Now you can accept or reject the offer.
Note! The change applies to the order value, not the freight offer.

In the order details, in the Change History tab, you will find information about the automatic price update.
