Who can use this feature?
This feature is available to CargoON users and the TFF product line who have access to the Dock Scheduler product and the Schedules module.
The settings for handling multiple time slots within a single booking can be managed by users with the following operational roles:
Warehouse Manager Full Access Freight Management Order Management Dock Scheduler Manager

In this article, you will learn how to:

  • increase operational efficiency by allowing carriers to assign multiple time slots to a single booking.

Setting up multiple time slot handling

This feature allows multiple time slots to be handled within a single booking, which simplifies planning and reduces the number of operations.

How to enable multiple time slot handling:

  1. Make sure you have the appropriate permissions.
  2. Go to the Schedules module.
  3. Open the settings of the selected warehouse.
  4. Enable the Allow multiple time slots to be handled within a single booking option.

Conditions:

To combine time slots, they must:

  • concern the same shipper,
  • be assigned to the same warehouse,
  • have the same type of operation (e.g. unloading),
  • have overlapping dates and docks,
  • have a consistent handover chain or not have been handed over,
  • be available to the user (e.g. you are the assigned carrier).

Is assigning multiple time slots enabled by default?

No, the feature is disabled by default and requires manual activation in the warehouse settings.

Who can enable the option to assign multiple time slots?

The feature can be enabled by users with the appropriate permissions, such as Warehouse Manager, Full Access, Freight Management, Order Management, or Dock Scheduler Manager.

How many time slots can be combined in one booking?

A maximum of 25 time slots.
