Decisions to be made - confirmation of the transaction

Who can use this feature?

The feature is available to all users of the Trans.eu Platform and CargoON.

In this article, you will learn:

  • when and why it's worth confirming a transaction, even if the offer has already ended,
  • how to make a decision step by step in the Decisions to Take module,
  • what benefits come with finalizing a formal transaction on the Platform.

Even if the offer has been removed or its publication date has expired and it has not been formally accepted before, you can confirm the transaction. This is useful when:

  • negotiations were conducted on a messenger,
  • the offer was completed before the formal confirmation of the transaction.

If it is your contractor who reports such a transaction, you will receive a notification in the Decisions to be made module.

How to make a decision on confirming the transaction?

  1. In the upper right corner of the Platform, click the Decisions to be made icon:

A number will appear next to the icon - it informs you how many new, unread decisions you have.

  1. You will see the Decisions to be made window. Find and click Confirmation of the transaction.

  1. Read the details of the decision:
  • Freight information: loading/unloading places and dates, body type, capacity
  • Rate and currency
  • Company name and details of the person submitting the application

  1. Make a decision. You have several options:
  • Approve the transaction
  • Reject and give a reason
  • Remind me - the decision will return at the selected time.

What happens next?

  • After the action is performed, the decision disappears from the list.
  • If the decision was made from a place other than the Decisions to be made module, it is also removed from the panel.
  • When the transaction is reported again, a new decision with up-to-date data will appear.

What if I don't make a decision?

  • After 365 days, the decision expires and disappears from the list.
  • This way you only see current and valid applications.

The decision to be made will go to the user with whom the negotiations were conducted. If they are no longer on the Platform, the information about the decision will be received by the freight contact person or the company administrator.

Why is it worth making formal transactions?

Formal transaction occurs when both parties (the orderer and the contractor) confirm the cooperation within the offer on the Trans.eu Platform. If you decide to enter into a formal transaction, you will gain the opportunity to:

  • issue a rating with a comment to the contractor,
  • positively influence the TransRisk index, being perceived as a transparent and professional partner in business relations,
  • use products supporting payment security on preferential terms (as a contractor).
