Function available to all users of the Trans.eu Platform (TFF line) and CargoON.

Basic information about the widget

Add the Diesel fuel prices widget to your Dashboard and always have the current average price of fuel in the selected country at your fingertips.

The Diesel fuel prices widget:

  • is one of the widgets in the Information category,
  • is intended for all users of the Trans.eu Platform,
  • presents data according to the table of the European Commission,
  • presents historical data (the European Commission updates the data on average once a week),
  • can be added to your Dashboard only once.

Widget navigation

The widget has 2 views which can be changed by means of filters.

Default view: Map

Main elements of the widget:

  1. Map of Europe - use the "+" and "-" buttons to zoom in and out.
  2. Legend - average diesel fuel prices (including tax) are displayed using a color scale that ranges from green (lowest prices) to red (highest prices).
  3. Filters - if you click on the blue arrow, a window with filters will appear: View (map, list), Currency (PLN, EUR and others), Sort by - active in the list view (from the highest, from the lowest).

  1. Annotation of the source of the displayed data.
  2. Date of data source refresh.

Alternative view: List

  1. List of countries - shows the first 10 countries with the highest or lowest average price of diesel fuel. The list is displayed in the form of a table consisting of 3 columns:
  • No.
  • Country - flag and name
  • Average price - fuel price with additional color display according to a scale from green (lowest prices) to red (highest prices).
  1. Legend - average diesel fuel prices are displayed using a color scale that ranges from green (lowest prices) to red (highest prices).
  2. Filters - if you click on the blue arrow, a window with filters will appear: View (map, list), Currency (PLN, EUR and others), Sort by - active in the list view (from the highest, from the lowest).
  3. Annotation of the source of the displayed data.
  4. Date of data source refresh.

How to analyze data

  1. Add the Diesel prices widget to your Dashboard.

  1. Click on the blue arrow and set the filters.
  1. In the Map view, hover the mouse cursor over the selected country to see information about:

  • Country name
  • Price in the currency set in the filters.

Easy access to diesel fuel price information can help you to:

  • Optimize operating costs: you can choose routes and plan to refuel in places where the prices are most favorable, thus reducing transport costs.
  • Negotiate with customers: up-to-date information on fuel prices can be useful when negotiating rates. Rising fuel prices justify higher transport rates.
