Who can use this feature? This feature is available to users of the CargoON and TFF - Trans for Forwarders product lines with Visibility Monitoring purchased (as a microtransaction or package) and to users of the TFC - Trans for Carriers product line. |
In this article, you will learn:
- what the map view is
- how to enable and configure the map view
- how to filter information in the map view
Map view is a feature that allows the customer to monitor and manage multiple transports at the same time on a single map. This feature provides quick access to information about vehicle locations, estimated arrival times, and any incidents or problems on the route.
To make the vehicle appear on the map:
- Go to the New tab
- Check if your contractor has provided the vehicle registration number (which we will use to verify that vehicle monitoring is technically possible).
- Give consent to transport monitoring, without it the vehicle will not be visible
- If all data is correct, the transport will appear in the Active tab and will be visible on the map after receiving the first position of the vehicle from the GPS system.
Enabling the map view
To use this feature, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Trans.eu Platform
- From the menu on the left, select the Transports in realization module.
- Go to the Active tab and check your list of transports (if the list is empty, there will be no information about vehicles on the map).
- In the upper right corner, select the view option: Map.

Filters and settings on the map/in the map view
On the map, you can customize the information displayed to suit your needs.
- Filtering routes on the map (available if operations take place in locations defined in the Address Book as own):
- Inbound - shows transports heading to your warehouses
- Outbound - shows transports leaving your warehouses

- Data configuration on the map:
- Click on the circle with lines icon to expand the options for configuring the information displayed on the map.
- Use the slider to enable or disable settings for what transport, vehicle, or driver identification information should be visible on the map.

- Additional filters:
- Filter transports by specific parameters

- Search tool:
- in the window with the search icon, enter data for example, the city - Wrocław, to search for transport in a specific location.

Vehicle in map view
The vehicle will be displayed on the map as a dot. Its color corresponds to the color of the predicted arrival time at the destination:
- Blue - ahead of schedule
- Green - on time
- Yellow - possible delay
- Orange - delay
- Red - late
- When you place the mouse cursor over a vehicle (dot), a window with basic information will appear.

- After clicking on the vehicle (dot) on the left, a window with detailed information will appear:

- Driver's working time

- Show drawer, after clicking it will appear on the right side

- View of a large drawer

- Collapse or expand the view containing detailed information
- Close option using x

Additional features on the map
- Drawer and vehicle list:
- After selecting several vehicles, a list containing detailed information will appear on the left.

- Route comparison, an option that allows you to compare routes, estimated driver working time, and detailed information about selected transports.
- There is also an option to hide unselected points, which increases the clarity of the map view.

- Selected point
- After clicking on a given point (e.g., loading or unloading location), a window containing information about the selected point will appear on the left.
