On-demand Monitoring

Who can use this feature?

This feature is available to users of the TFF - Trans for Forwarders and TFC - Trans for Carriers product lines.

In this article, you will learn:

  • how to activate on-demand monitoring,
  • how to disable on-demand monitoring.

On-demand monitoring facilitates cooperation with trusted partners. After giving consent once, monitoring will be launched automatically, without the need to confirm it each time for new orders.

ow to activate on-demand monitoring?

To activate on-demand monitoring:

  1. Click your avatar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Executed transports.
  4. Select the On-demand monitoring tab.
  5. Select and check the partners from the drop-down list for whom you want to make on-demand monitoring available.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Confirm your consent to activate on-demand monitoring.
From now on, GPS monitoring will be automatically shared with the selected partner for transports carried out on their behalf, if technically possible.
If monitoring is available, tracking will turn on automatically before the scheduled loading. You do not need to take any additional actions or confirm consent with every order. If monitoring is not possible, the relevant information will appear in the transport details.
The technical capability for monitoring is determined based on the provided vehicle registration number. This data must be entered by the Ordering Party or the Contractor - on the Platform or via API.

How to disable on-demand monitoring?

You can withdraw your previously given consent for monitoring at any time. To do this:

  1. Click your avatar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Executed transports.
  4. Select the On-demand monitoring tab.
  5. Remove the selected company from the list using the X icon.

After disabling consent, automatic tracking will no longer be launched for subsequent orders from this specific shipper, and a standard message will appear in the transport details indicating that the system is waiting to determine monitoring availability.
