Fixed route management

Who can use this feature?

The feature is available to all users of CargoON and the TFF (Trans for Forwarders) product line who have the ARS add-on enabled - Solutions automating the publication of freight offers (fixed routes and automation rules).

From this article you will learn how to:

  • find a fixed route and use filters,
  • edit a fixed route,
  • archive a fixed route.

Searching for fixed routes

  1. Go to the Fixed routes with carriers module.
  2. Select the Active or Archival tab.
  3. In the search box, type: route name, loading or unloading place.
  4. The results will be displayed in the list of fixed routes.

Filtering fixed routes

To narrow the search results to routes that meet the specified criteria, use the filter option.

  1. Click the Filters button.
  2. Fill in the criteria and click Show Results.

  1. The results will appear in the list of fixed routes. You can see the applied filters below the search box.

Editing a fixed route

  1. Go to the Fixed routes with carriers module and select the route you want to edit.
  2. Click the three-dot menu icon and select Edit.

  1. Make your changes and then click Send to carriers.
Editing an active fixed route requires the terms to be re-approved by the carriers involved. Until the carrier accepts the changes, the previous terms remain in effect.
  1. The edited fixed route will appear in the Under negotiation tab with the status: "Your offer is awaiting approval (Update of conditions)".
  2. Once the carrier accepts the new terms, the offer of a fixed route will be moved to the Active tab.

The carrier can reject the new terms - the reason for rejection can be found in the fixed route details. In this situation you can:
- Talk about the terms of cooperation - this opens the chat window,
- Duplicate the terms of cooperation - this allows you to introduce new changes,
- Archive the fixed route offer.

Archiving of fixed routes

You can only archive routes the terms of which are neither active nor under negotiation.

  1. Go to the Fixed routes with carriers module and select the route to archive.
  2. Click the three-dot menu icon and select Archive.
  3. Confirm the action to proceed.
  4. The fixed route will be moved to the Archival tab.
You can add new terms to the route from the Archival tab by clicking the three-dot menu icon. If you send them to carriers, the route will be moved to the Active tab.

Bulk actions on multiple fixed routes

You can make the same changes to multiple fixed routes at the same time.

  1. Select the routes you want to edit from the list.
  2. Use the bulk action options to:
  • Add carrier to fixed routes - allows you to send an offer to several carriers simultaneously.
  • Archive fixed routes.
