Who can use this feature?

The feature is available to all users of the Trans.eu and CargoON Platform.

Introduction

TransConnect is an application that allows you to integrate your smartphone with the Trans.eu Platform. With it, you can easily transfer multimedia, use contacts, and make phone calls directly from the Trans.eu Platform.

System Requirements

  • Smartphone: Android 7.0 or newer, iOS 11 or newer
  • Trans.eu Platform: Access to an account on the Trans.eu Platform
  • Internet: Active internet connection on both smartphone and computer

App Installation

  1. Download the app:
  1. Install the app: Once you have downloaded the app, install it on your smartphone by following the on-screen instructions.

Connecting the phone to the Trans.eu Platform using the TransConnect app

On the Trans.eu Platform

  1. Click the Connect with phone icon
  2. You will see the pairing window with TransConnect

On the phone:

  1. Open TransConnect on your phone.
  2. Tap the Connect with Trans.eu Platform button
  3. Point your phone at the screen to scan the visible QR code

TransConnect Features

Using contacts

Access to phone contacts will allow you to:

  • quickly send collaboration invitations and SMS messages to people you want to invite to use the Trans.eu Platform.
  • select a number from your contact list instead of manually entering it.
  1. Grant permissions: In the TransConnect app, click Using contacts and then Allow the app to access contacts.
  2. Use contacts: On the Trans.eu Platform, in forms and messengers, you can now select numbers from your phone's contact list.

Making phone calls

With this option, you will be able to make phone calls from the Trans.eu Platform.

Making calls without entering the number on the phone's keypad? With TransConnect, it's possible. To call a selected user of the Platform, click on the user's phone number (e.g., from the communicator) - pick up the phone, the call is already connected!

  1. Click the number: On the Trans.eu Platform, click the phone number of the user you want to contact.
  2. Connection: Your smartphone will automatically start a phone call with the selected number.

Access to multimedia

This option allows you to access files from your phone while working directly from the Trans.eu Platform

  1. Select files: On the Trans.eu Platform, in the attachment section, you can now select files from the multimedia stored on your phone.

Troubleshooting

  • Login issue: Make sure you are entering the correct login details for the Trans.eu Platform. If the problem persists, reset your password on the Trans.eu website.
  • No connection to the phone: Check if you have an active internet connection on both your phone and computer and if the TransConnect app is running.
  • Problems with multimedia transfer: Ensure that the app has the appropriate permissions to access multimedia on your phone.
